Definition
Bone marrow aspirate concentrate is produced by collecting and processing bone marrow to concentrate nucleated cells and other components. Preparation, cell counts, scaffolds, indications, and accompanying surgery vary across studies. Reviews include limited distraction-osteogenesis and nonunion evidence and call for more consistent products and controlled comparisons; they do not establish a standard limb-lengthening protocol or guaranteed faster healing.
